POSITION SUMMARY: 

As we continue to scale, we are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Marketing Manager to lead high-impact marketing initiatives aligned with our growth objectives. 

The Marketing Manager will play a critical role in driving the company’s marketing strategy and execution across channels.  This individual will be responsible for demand generation, campaign development, brand positioning, content strategy, and marketing operations. You will collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Client Success, and Partnerships to develop and deploy marketing programs that position the company as a leader in the Insurtech and employee benefits space. 

The ideal candidate is a data-driven, creative, and agile marketer with proven experience building integrated B2B marketing strategies, especially in regulated or complex industries such as Insurtech, employee benefits, insurance, fintech, or healthcare.


ESSENTIAL ROLES AND RESPONSBILITIES: 

Strategic Planning & Leadership: 

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive B2B marketing strategy that aligns with company goals related to lead generation, market expansion, and retention. 
  • Translate business priorities into actionable marketing plans, campaign calendars, and budget recommendations.
  • Collaborate with executive leadership to refine value proposition, competitive positioning, and go-to-market messaging. 

Campaign & Demand Generation: 

  • Plan, implement, and optimize multi-channel campaigns across email, paid media, social media, SEO, web, and event marketing.
  • Drive lead acquisition and nurturing strategies using segmentation, content marketing, and automation workflows.
  • Design broker-focused campaigns and sales enablement materials that support the company's distribution model. 

Content Strategy & Development:  

  • Oversee the development of content assets, including thought leadership, educational guides, webinars, case studies, and landing pages that support various stages of the buyer journey. 
  • Ensure messaging consistency across channels and compliance with regulatory and industry standards. Partner with SMEs, product, and customer success to develop meaningful, accurate, and value-driven content. 

 Analytics & Performance Management: 

  • Establish and manage marketing KPIs (e.g., MQLs, CPL, CAC, engagement rates, pipeline contribution). 
  • Utilize marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, HubSpot, Salesforce) to track performance, evaluate ROI, and make data-informed decisions. 
  • Produce regular marketing reports and performance dashboards for executive stakeholders. 

 Cross-Functional & Partner Collaboration: 

  • Partner with Sales to align lead qualification, handoff, and pipeline development strategies. 
  • Coordinate with Product for launch communications and feature education campaigns. 
  • Work closely with Client Success to design onboarding and engagement communications for employer groups. 
  • Collaborate with benefit brokers and ecosystem partners on joint marketing opportunities, co-branded campaigns, and referral programs. 

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION, SKILLS AND/OR EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field. 
  • 5–8 years of experience in B2B marketing; experience in Insurtech, healthtech, SaaS, or employee benefits highly preferred. 
  • Demonstrated success in demand generation, campaign execution, and sales alignment. 
  • Proficiency with marketing and CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Google Analytics, and LinkedIn Ads. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a portfolio of marketing work (or writing samples) available upon request. 
  • Strong analytical capabilities: ability to manage data, draw insights, and make recommendations. 
  • Experience managing freelancers, agencies, or internal creative resources.
